Home Goods

Finally got to Home Goods recently...

I may have gotten a little carried away!

I think I spent too much time feeling sorry for myself. The BLESSED pillow reminded me of just how lucky I’ve been in my life. I bought it to remind myself daily...I don’t want to ever forget.

I planned to put the black and white rug in the kitchen in front of the sink, but at the last minute I changed my mind and took it out of the basket.  Drags!!!  I’ve been to several stores trying to find one again, but so far no luck.

My favorite stores use to be Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware, but both stores have lost there allure for me. Maybe their buyers have changed?  I don’t know what it is, but I don’t find anything I like there anymore.

So Home Goods has become my number one for now. I’m still on the hunt for that rug so I’m visiting every store in the area until I find one.

How about you?  What’s your go to store these days?

                                                        Thanks For Dropping By!

  1. All my stores are now DON'T go to. Other than three trips to a grocery store back in March, I have not shopped in person. Too many very old and very young people in my life.
I'll admit, this post did strike a tiny bit of envy.
    Soon...I hope, soon!

  2. I am glad you are getting things together. Yes, we are blessed and we all can spend time feeling sorry for ourselves. That is part of grief.

I haven't been shopping, other than groceries, in so long I don't have a favorite place. Not a big shopper.
    Have a good weekend.

  3. I am glad you could get some things from Home Goods. I went once to Home Goods but have really not been too many places with Covid. Home Goods seems to have a good handle on safety and sanitizing things and only people with masks and only so many in the store at a time. Looks like sweet things in that cart.
    Hugs,

  4. Nope. Here in California it is still wise to stay home as much as possible, I miss the freedom of being able to go out for fun and not for just necessities.

Happy to hear that you are finding neat things for your new abode.

  5. We always loved Restoration Hardware and then it closed in our area. Soon after Pottery Barn left. We still have Home Goods and I do like it too!

  7. Riverside Cottage,
I love TJ MAXX and Target!
I agree, the others have lost their allure!
Some great finds in your cart!
    But, I'm still in "stay @ home"mode
until the Covid ~ 19 numbers begin to decline.

  8. What a great haul. You know me, I pretty much only shop antique malls and thrifts. I guess those are my go-to shopping places. I can't wait to see how you arrange everything in your new place.
