I have blogged about her bloopers when I was working on the kitchen. She had used two shades of grout, and it was slopped everywhere. I have whitewashed the whole mess so that I don't have to look at her screwups. The whitewash is holding up surprisingly well. Someday, if I can't sell my house, I will get cork, because that is the easiest thing for the comfort of the body.Scribblerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06681743103386838795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173691505669853688.post-32641353100107581222012-06-10T13:13:08.600-05:002012-06-10T13:13:08.600-05:00I would go with wood because it's easier on yo...I would go with wood because it's easier on your feet and legs. I like the wood, too, but ultimately it is whatever wears better to me. So far these wood floors seem to be fine.Kathy @ Creative Home Expressionshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01341667486449125153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173691505669853688.post-89667898841812625232012-06-06T10:33:01.233-05:002012-06-06T10:33:01.233-05:00It is looking great! Also, My friend has tile in her kitchen, and she said if you go tile use a dark grout, because the grout gets dirty and you can't keep it clean. I do like the tile look, but I love the wide plank board better;) Thank you for visiting Homespun Happenings. I am so glad you found me. I have hardwoods in my kitchen and I love the look, but the first time I dropped a can on them and they dented I freaked out. I've had to get over that. We didn't put them in, I would have chosen a more rustic wider board, and not so glossy, but wood is easier on your feet that stone or tile. and I go barefoot or in my socks so I need it to be easy.Debra@CommonGroundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04830455848744270459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173691505669853688.post-72994647780979050082012-05-30T22:58:00.814-05:002012-05-30T22:58:00.814-05:00Your bathroom floor looks great!
