A Winner And A Loser

Monday is Seniors Day, all day, all movies are $5.50
for seniors at our local Cinemark.

Tuesday is Discount Day, all day, all movies are $5.00
for everyone.

We took advantage of Seniors day today and saw
the new Tom Cruise movie,

Edge of Tomorrow

I've never been much of a Tom Cruise fan until today.
Seriously. His best movie, ever!

Go before you hear anything about it.
Go before you read any reviews.
Just go.
You'll be glad you did.

On the other hand...

Last week we saw another movie,

A Million Ways To Die In The West

About half way through the movie, I was wishing
I could die to get out of seeing the rest of it.

For this particular movie, I recommend you
don't even waste money on a video rental.
It was that bad.

Thanks for dropping by today.

It Takes A Worried Dog...

Little Henry William
was born on June 3rd.

Maybe I shouldn't say "little" as our new
member of the tribe made his appearance at
9 pounds 3.6 oz

This picture was taken at about 10 days of age,
at a coming out party.

If you recognize the fellow in the left hand corner,
yes it is Wrigley. He's trying to keep an eye on
anyone who dares hold his new baby.

They say it takes a village to raise a child,
but sometimes it just takes a worried dog.

Wrigley seldom let Henry's older sister, Lily, out
of his sight and now it's the same with Henry.

Here's Wrigley 5 years ago with baby Lily and
Uncle Mike. Same dog, same stance, different baby.
So the future looks bright for Henry.
He'll never lack for companionship,
Wrigley will see to that.
But Henry will have to share his toys.
