We saw American Sniper yesterday.
Despite all the Hollywood snipes being taken
against it, we were happy we saw it. And proud
of our military who risk, and lose, their lives
every day in the war zones.
My grandmother used to say about war:
"It's a rich man's war but a poor man's fight"
No truer words can be spoken about war in
general and this movie certainly makes it clear.
When you see the movie, be sure to stay until
the very, very end. It's not to be missed.
Don't wait for the video, this is one movie
I can't imagine not seeing on the big screen.
thank you for your thoughts, I've been wanting to see this too.
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to watch that movie too-glad you give a watch!
ReplyDeleteLike flying monkeys bother you, this type movie bothers me. I tried to see several movies about 911, Unbroken...just can't handle it..I end up sitting in the lobby while Mr. Sweet watches the movie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your review. I definitely want to see that movie and we'll probably see it this weekend... :)
ReplyDeleteHello and thank you for visiting me at Tea Cottage Pretties. Also, thank you for the review on American Sniper. I want to see it as well. It really seems to be getting rave reviews. We are currently stationed in Korea and it is a little harder to get to the movies here but maybe this could be our first new experience going to the movies here. Hugs, Beverly
ReplyDeleteMy husband thought it would be interesting to see... I'll have to share your review with him.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great day! [hugs]
We saw the movie too. Great movie....What Kyle was doing was defending our country and I give each and every soldier credit.
