Acorn Ornaments You Can DIY

I bought this acorn ornament at a shop called My Favorite Room, in McKinney TX.
Love it very much, but it would be so easy to make.

In fact, I just bought one because (I'm cheap and) I have a blog post pinned on Pinterest that has a tutorial on how to create them. I decided I needed to have one as a reminder to make a few. You know...out of sight, out of mind.

When I got home with this ornament, I looked up the post so I could share it with you while there's still time to make a few.

The blog post is from Yvonne at the Stone Gable blog. Yvonne's ornaments are made in various materials from burlap to toile and, if you've ever visited Stone Gable, you know Yvonne does a great tutorial and makes it easy to follow her directions.

You can click here to see Stone Gable's acorn ornament post from last year  2013.  I guarantee they are adorable!

If you've used Stone Gable's post to make some of these ornaments, please let me know so I can come check yours out.

Thanks for dropping by!

  11. Very cute!
Love them but knowing me, I'd gather up the needed items and then never make them.
Yep. If I see something I I adore and can't talk myself out of, I buy it.
I admire you for creating something so pretty
    AND for finishing it! LOL!
