Needed some Fusion Mineral Paint the other day to complete a project, so we took a trip to McKinney Texas where my favorite Fusion Mineral Paint supplier is located.
Melanie's shop in The Antiques Company Mall is called Lost and Found, just like her blog Lost And Found Decor.
Melanie And Husband Brad, Lost And Found Shop
Melanie and her husband Brad were restocking her shop and making renovations that day. Of course I had to get some actions shots of the two of them...
I've been following Melanie's blog since she started it years ago. She has great tutorial videos on painting and finishing furniture on her blog, as well as pretty pictures of her painted pieces.
For 2 years I've been buying paint supplies from Melanie, but I had never actually met her in person until the other day when I was there to buy paint.
It was cold, windy and rainy that day, but Melanie's warm smile cheered me right up.
Melanie was kind enough to answer more than a few questions from me about a couple of projects I'm planning to do. Melanie has used Fusion Paint to make over just about everything, including her cabinets and front door in addition to the usual furniture makeovers.

If you're in the McKinney area, The Antiques Company Mall is a great place to shop in old downtown McKinney. And if you're interested in learning about Fusion Paint, check out Melanie's blog for her tutorials.
I'm joining the Keep In Touch Party at Let's Add Sprinkles and the Amaze Me Monday party at Dwellings - The Heart Of The Home. I hope you stop by there too.
Thanks for dropping by!
That's a great photo of you both and now I'm going to check out her blog. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely post and I will also check out her blog. I just saw a comment you made on my blog last year but missed it. It was for a beef and vegetable soup that popped up on my side bar. Well, a little late but thank you very much for stopping by. Sure enjoyed my visit here and will look forward to coming back.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of you two! I have never used the Fusion paint but I am happy you found a product you love. I will go check out her website. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteQ is for Quandie got me stuck on Fusion Paint, especially the color Limestone. I love One-Step too by Amy Howard for metals and junk stuff, but furniture really does do better with Fusion Paint.
DeleteOh how I miss McKinney!! Cute photo of the two of you. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteI got the impression you missed McKinney when I saw on your blog a while back that the place you would most like to move to is Texas.
DeleteWhat a happy treat! I shall have to try the paint. May you have a wonderful week of lovely weather!
ReplyDeleteYou ladies are beautiful! And it's always fun to meet another blogger, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by to visit me. I appreciate it. Lovely little shop. We have a shop in our county called Deerly Blessed and she is going to start having a painting class along with other classes this summer. She just began to carry a line of paint. Not sure what it's called though. Have a good day. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteYou have done a good job. Shop looks beautiful:)
