Just when I was going to take it easy, I saw this post and loved the finish on these chairs over at The Purple Hydrangea's blog.
I decided I have to try this paint technique as I have several different colors of Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint that I've hoarded, but never used.
I think the likely victim is the dark wood bench in the hallway, but rest assured...someone here is getting painted and distressed!
Thanks for dropping by!
Can't wait to see the bench all prettied up!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bench, so excited and looking forward to seeing the makeover.
ReplyDeleteOoh fun, Sugar! I want to try painting something. I used to do projects all the time, but can’t seem to get myself motivated.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my latest post!
I know that feeling. Paint can do wonders and it is such a great way to redecorate without spending much money :) You say that you already have the paint, so no money at all . . . nothing beats that, LOL.
ReplyDeleteHave fun and be sure to post your finished project.
Can't wait to see the transformation! I love painting furniture!! Love and hugs!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see.

Rivercrest Cottage,
ReplyDeleteLovely chair!
I just finished painting a Jenny Lind bed this week. I decided this is my last (large) painting project! My arthritis flared terribly!
Now that bench looks like a perfect candidate!
I'll be watching for an upcoming reveal!

Hope Bill isn't sitting on that seat when the paints come out. lol That would look really great painted though. Good luck- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteBye bye, serious-looking dark wood bench. See you on the other side.

Amalia, you crack me up. God has other plans for the bench! We have a contract on the house and the wonderful lady asked to buy some of the furniutre...including the bench.
DeleteI know blog friends get tired of hearing this from me, but how the heck have I missed four of your posts! I've caught up! I love the pictures way back in the "original building objects" post, but enjoyed all of them. and this post; I love those chairs too. You tickle me. Can't wait to see who got painted. The bench or whatever will be beautiful I know.
