A Winner And A Loser

Monday is Seniors Day, all day, all movies are $5.50
for seniors at our local Cinemark.

Tuesday is Discount Day, all day, all movies are $5.00
for everyone.

We took advantage of Seniors day today and saw
the new Tom Cruise movie,

Edge of Tomorrow

I've never been much of a Tom Cruise fan until today.
Seriously. His best movie, ever!

Go before you hear anything about it.
Go before you read any reviews.
Just go.
You'll be glad you did.

On the other hand...

Last week we saw another movie,

A Million Ways To Die In The West

About half way through the movie, I was wishing
I could die to get out of seeing the rest of it.

For this particular movie, I recommend you
don't even waste money on a video rental.
It was that bad.

Thanks for dropping by today.

  1. Live-die-repeat. Just looked at the trailer. Looks like allot of action. Last week I saw Jack Reacher with Tom Cruise. Very good!

    1. I knew nothing about it before going. It was a complete surprise to me, which I think is the best way to see it. Ground Hogs Day meets Jerry McGuire meets Aliens. Honestly, Wild Bill and I loved it.

  5. I saw The Edge of Tomorrow last week and I totally agree, it was his best movie. I also didn't know what the movie was about because it was my husband's turn to pick the movie. I didn't even think I would like it, but was thrilled to find that it was so action packed and at times very funny.
