Finding Inspriation




Sitting in my chair, this was my view of our mantel.
You're probably thinking, "Hey, I can't see the mantel!"

 Well, it was a wreck so I don't want you to see our mantel. I want you to see the lovely mantel over at Common Ground...

 I was really stuck with what to do with our mantel. Seeing hers gave me all the inspiration I needed!

I have a large brown mirror. I have an old toolbox. I have a boxwood wreath. I'm on it!

    I love the simple white look of it. About all I have are the white lanterns, but then neither of our fireplaces has a mantel. We keep saying we're going to put one up, but then I worry about the cat getting up there and knocking things down, she does that when she's bored.

    I just love it when we get inspiration from someone else and then you think, why didn't I think of that. Debra has a beautiful home and everything looks amazing.
