I have a fascination with painting all my furniture white, and I've been slapping different white paint samples on my walls here and there while planning to pick one shade and go white all the way! I think that's why I'm finding a little floral color in bedding very appealing.

Let me know if you're as smitten with this new floral line as I am. Pottery Barn recommends mixing their vintage-inspired florals with rustic wood and industrial styles. They had me at the aged brick walls!
I'm hoping if bedding manufacturers get enough interest in florals we may see more variety become available. I wouldn't mind if they created some stripes to mix in with the florals either. Are you listening Pottery Barn?

i've always had white walls and used color in pillows and etc....got my new PB catalog and fell in love with just about everything in it...:)
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I must confess, I have trouble with all white, and I am not very good with it. I love the second picture that combines the warm neutral colors with the florals - now that I think I might be able to attempt. Thank you for all of these wonderful inspiration photos.

ReplyDeleteI agree about florals--AND stripes! Recently I reversed the floral curtains hanging in our living room to get a more faded appearance. I'm loving it!

I like florals but my husband does not, so solid colors only. Right now it's a light blue/green.
ReplyDeleteI just saw this in a mailer they sent me. I have always loved florals and stripes together. So yes, they need to add some fun stripes. :) I've never been able to do total white. I am a color and pattern girl. :)

ReplyDeletewell, I had to go check them out and I'm totally in love with the Carolina Patchwork. I agree, the soft worn looking florals are just beautiful. using pastel stripes would be so pretty along with them. I get PB catalogs, but just hadn't seen these yet.

Pottery Barn always has lovely linens. I love a pop of florals on an all white bed. Stripes are precious too.
